Hosted for two whole days in the wonderful Leigh Spinners Mill, we bring you table-top delights! Craft to your hearts content followed each day by an amazing, custom written, two-part dungeons and dragons campaign!

An absolutely brilliant workshop for the crafter who likes to try something new and a bit different! Create your own amazing leather goblin pouch to store all your goodies and trinkets... or dice! Follow each day with a an amazing Dungeons and Dragons campaign spanning the length of the weekend, written by our amazing Games Master at Tabletop Tavern!
Perfect for tabletop gamers, dungeons and dragons fans, the crafty geek, or someone who's "tried everything" - we bring you this unique and unusual workshop to get your creativity and imagination flowing. So why not join us and discover the joy of leathercrafting and tabletop gaming!
workshop structure
This session is a group workshop for 2 days with breaks inbetween.
Saturday
Morning
We start your day with a bang by forming the shape of your pouch. We look at facial features and expressions. After shaping your friend is left to dry and, we can begin moulding details such as teeth, horns, monocles or critters for your final assembly.
Afternoon
Once your friend is dry enough to hold his shape, it's onto decorating them. Pick from our huge range of leather dyes to select your perfect shades. Mix and match browns and greens for a druid feel, or maybe paint your pet cat. Your new friend will then be left to dry ready for tomorrow.
Evening
After a break where you can check into your hotel, grab some food or freshen up, you will return to The Tabletop Tavern to begin your dungeons and dragons campaign! Embark on day one of your epic quest and explore lands anew... maybe with a surprise appearance from a your friend?
Sunday
Morning
We return to The Wolf Workshop and it's time to assemble! Firstly we choose eyes and set them in. Once the eyes are in, we can begin the process of stitching your pouch. You don't have to be a sewing expert for this - the more chaotic the better it looks! Finally we add teeth and finishing touches!
Afternoon
Head back down to the Tavern for part 2 of your wonderful Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Pick up where you left off the night before for an explosive, fantastic and unbelievable ending. May your new dice bag bless all your rolls!
Evening
After an incredible weekend, we will say goodbye to all our adventurers. It'll be time for everyone to head home with their brand new Dice Bags, or if you like, you can choose to stick around for a few more board games at the Tavern!
what will you craft?
In this workshop you will make one goblin dice bag of your own creation. There are no patterns to follow in this class, instead we see where the day and inspiration takes us.
The session is designed to be much more experimental and exploratory than our other workshops. It's perfect for those who have a strong craft background as well as those who have absolutely none and are looking for a great day out. The main outcome of the dice bag workshop is to have fun and be as creative as possible whilst making something super unique!
what's included?
Your session includes all your materials and use of the studio and it's contents for the weekend with our experienced and professional leathercraft tutor. Our workshop space is jam packed with goodies to stylise your pouch - we have everything from fake sweets to gold leaf to moss!
We also have a small cafe's worth of tea, coffee and snacks whilst you craft!
