Ready to become a sneaker-making master? Get ready to lace up and dive into the world of handcrafted sneakers made from genuine leather! This fantastic course will guide you through the process of creating your own one-of-a-kind kicks.

Maybe you've seen some incredible customised sneakers? Perhaps watched a few youtube videos or caught that episode of Sewing Bee and thought "I could do that!"
Well then, why not!? Join us and discover the joy of leathercrafting!
workshop structure
This session is privately booked for 1 day from 10am to 4pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
Morning
In the morning of your workshop, we will explore the world of leathercraft. Starting the day with a chat and a brew, we delve into the different types, styles and thicknesses of leather to choose the perfect style for your shoes. Once designed, we'll then cut your pattern from your chosen leather and get ready to embellish!
Midday
Once your leather is cut, we can begin any design work such as dying, painting and stamping patterns. Make the shoe really your own - go for a stylish woodland theme! Maybe it looks like icecream? Go crazy with colour or opt for a classic modern finish to match your favourite outfit. The studio is yours to create as you wish!
Afternoon
The afternoon is time for assembly! We can add hardware of your choosing such as eyelets or rivets, before stitching the parts together. Once your uppers are completed, we sew them onto your pre-prepared shoe soles using a traditional saddle stitch. Then all that's left is to add your insoles, lace them up and try them on!

Cut, dye and style your way into whatever your heart desires to create your most stylish accessory yet! Choose from high tops or low tops, or maybe even add your own twist onto a classic? Pick your design from our pre-prepared patterns, select your leather and choice of embellishments before crafting your very own leather trainers!
We cater to UK sizes 3-12 (EU36 - 47) and our fantastic professional leathercrafting tutor, Pipa, will be by your side the entire day to ensure your vision comes to life!
what's included?
Your workshop includes all your materials and use of the studio and it's contents for the day. Our workshop space is jam packed with goodies to craft your dream pair of sneakers.

After your workshop, you will also receive a copy of our 26 page Buyers Guide. Filled with articles, handy information and a list of UK suppliers, this booklet has been specially produced to ensure all our students leave our course with everything they could possibly need to continue their journey in leathercrafting.

We also have a small cafe's worth of tea, coffee and snacks whilst you craft!

Such a great experience. Having been interested in leather craft for sometime I was given a 1 to 1 lesson with Pipa as a present. Such a great present it was. The day was spent working through all aspects of leather work, learning so many little tips and tricks that only a true pro would know. Pipa's knowledge is vast but her love of the industry is obvious and her excitement at what can be done and in passing on this knowledge is infectious. Ask the wife, I talked about it non stop for weeks! The additional book she supplies, is great at help you out on the first steps and is a great resource, which is super useful as I got so into what was being taught that I didn't make as many notes as I wanted. Oh well, guess I'm going to have to do another course with her in the future!
